Drawing As a Verb

Drawing is not only an object, it is an activity for realizing and finding ideas and is an important part of my studio practice. Creating lines and images from an intuitive place translates into my other work in subtle, yet important ways by creating an internal dialogue guiding me to the essence of my ideas. My decisions with the hammer and file in turn gain a spontaneous ease, building on the reactive confidence drawing provides.
